Scrappy spaces.... AND A RAK.

What scrappy things make you happy? I really love organization and happy bright colors.  The first picture up above are containers that I found at the Homegoods Store. I loved the aqua lid covers but the clear base so I could see everything. The second picture is of my Clipitup that my girl JJ bought for me...for my half birthday... And the last picture is of my BELOVED KI happiness topped with AL clear buttons..

Our retirement...

Our friend Chase took this picture of Christian on his phone today at Golf lessons...R said he was a trooper...considering it was over 100 degrees.

When we were waiting for his daddy to get there, he said the cutest thing, "wouldn't it be cool if Tiger Woods was here?" Guess what he and his daddy did this last weekend?

Dance:) & Target

The princess started dance class today..she has it for an hour and it is ballet, tap and jazz. She is beyond excited! However, I'm not sure if she's excited about all the new shoes, leotards, and tights...or the actual act of dance class. I did have a really proud mommy moment while watching her today....I had TWO moms asked me if she was in dance prior to this? And the answer was "no, this is her first time."  And then I laughed hysterically saying to myself...does 12 dancing princesses count? She really has been interested in dance for a long time...she pirouettes all over the bonus at any given time. Get this....one of them said she "is a natural"....

Hurry! Run to Target....these plastic containers are in the dollar spot again! They have them in pink and blue too! I don't even use my stamps hardly at all...but i might now...especially since I can see them. I even have some of my acrylic stamps in them....(*disclaimer, I am not a stamper, so I don't have a ton of them;)  since I'm disclaiming, I guess I should mention that I am a terrible stamper....but apparently that doesn't stop me from buying them.,,,

It's just a house...

Yes, you read that right. Fire & Water --Cleanup & Restoration. On Wednesday afternoon the hose from our washing machine disconnected and flooded our laundry room, pantry hallway, kitchen, breakfast nook, our master bedroom, master bathroom and master closet....I started the washer and then went upstairs to hang out with the kids. After like 20 mins I decided to go downstairs and do the dishes....I can't imagine what would have happened if it would have went all the way through all the cycles. I waded my way through to get to my closet to get all the towels and blankets I could. And then I frantically called my hubby who walked me through the shop-vac. It's amazing the calm I had. We haven't even been in our new house 3 months...I think I just realized that it's just a house. And the house can be fixed. And we are all fine and healthy.

Catch-up

Can you believe I blogged for two years (pretty faithfully), but in the last four months, I've blogged like 10 times. Today before I began this post I checked my stats to see if anyone was even stopping by anymore...and much to my surprise a few of you are still holding out hope! LOL

I feel so blessed to have all this busyness in my life...I tend to be a perfectionist...and with that...I'm usually all or nothing. If I can't do it 100% then I just don't do it. I'm trying really hard to find a happy-medium.

And speaking of being blessed..first off, I have had my Gram here for a few weeks. And anyone who knows me personally knows that she is one of the most important people in my life. I keep joking with her that she needs to quit helping me around the house, that is a sure way for me to keep her here!

Another blessing was going to CHA in Chicago and meeting most of the fashionistas! These girls are amazing. Seriously. Here are a couple of layouts with the I {heart} Candytown collection by our very own Adrienne Looman. This girl is bubblin' over with creativity {{{and such sweetness}}}.

Both kids are doing really well. They too are adjusting to our busyness since the move and vacations, and bible camps etc....We all thrive with some sort of schedule....and this summer it's been fly by the seat of our pants...LOL. Blame it on

Comcast....(I figured it would be good to blame it on someone for my lack of blogging.)Our internet and phone were down for a few days... And for the last 4 weeks both just randomly go in and out as they see fit. But I think the fiber optic issues are now coming to a close. At least that is what they tell me:) So here is a handsome boy to look at:) Have a blessed week!

Swim Lessons:)

are over.  10 days of beautiful weather. And happy little fish. It has been raining the last couple of days so we haven't been able to go to the pool. But they have a new toy they have been playing with since fathers' day. I hope to post some pictures tomorrow. Have a blessed week!

Happy Monday:)

oh-my how time flies:) We have been having so much fun with summer break here. The kids have been swimming almost every day (they are in the middle of swim lessons right  now too:) which are every day for 10 days. We are on day 6 and both of the kids are doing so well! I think Christian is part fish. The first three days Allie cried so I was wondering if we should have just put that money in her college fund instead of into lessons;) But then after that she was fine. She is a lot more cautious than C, but she is doing great!!! The kids also have summer school camp so we have been busy! I just got back from a girls scrappy retreat that was super fun! This is the 2nd year we have done it and I can't wait for next year. Have a blessed day!
